Bands, Songwriters, Composers from around the globe have submitted their works for consideration at this red carpet gala!

The Main Event will take place on Thursday, November 18th, 2010 at The Highlands at the world famous Kodak Theater Complex in Hollywood, CA.
The event will be televised in post around the globe to 17 countries including the UK. The format will be a new prime time reality show that will include many of the nominees. This TV distribution exclusive is a landmark for the HMMA as a world wide presence. Attendance for this event has escalated from this development as it has become the most sought after new event in Hollywood.

The Hollywood Music in Media Awards recognizes and honors the music in visual mediums, the talented individuals responsible for creating and placing it, and the music of both mainstream and independent artists from around the globe for their compositions and recordings in all forms of media including film, TV, video games, commercial advertisements, movie trailers and music videos. The HMMA is also he first music awards event to recognize and honor excellence in music supervision. In addition, iconic individuals are presented with special awards for outstanding career achievement and longevity in entertainment.

As part of the HMMA experience, the Music in Media Symposium (MIMISYM) an industry networking mixer is held during the awards show weekend. MIMISYM is a full day & evening of networking, informative and professional panels, break out modules, exhibits and mentoring sessions.

The full conference, Music in Media Interactive Conference (MIMICON), a comprehensive industry conference designed to inform, educate, present opportunities and further the careers of all conference participants, will be presented Spring 2011.
