HMMA 2018 WINNER “SHALLOW” PICKED UP 2019 GOLDEN GLOB

Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando, and Andrew Wyatt

On Sunday, January 6th the Golden Globes awarded Best Original Song to “Shallow” from A Star is Born, nearly two months AFTER the HMMA bestowed the same honor on November 14, 2018. This occurrence is no coincidence, it is just another example of the HMMA’s ability to select nominees and winners far in advance of the annual awards season. This is why the Hollywood Music In Media Awards has become a vital event for so many composers, studios, artists, networks and songwriters.

The HMMA had “Shallow” on it’s radar early 2018 before most of the general public was aware of the song, or even the film itself. This song was chosen to be one of the outstanding live performances at the HMMA main event.

Let’s see what happens in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please enjoy the song Shallow performed live at the 9th Annual HMMA on November 14th, 2018
