EACH NOMINATION IS GRANTED ONE (1) COMPLIMENTARY GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET - NO ASSIGNED SEATING
Please read and understand that sentence literally. ONE General Admission Ticket (no assigned seating) for each nomination, even if there are multiple persons associated with the nomination. This courtesy is to insure all nominations are represented and have access to red carpet. We will have your name, as it appears in the posted nomination, at check in. If by chance you are nominated twice in different categories, that means you'll have two comped GA tickets. Additional tickets at all levels must be purchased. Only main floor tickets (VIP Banquet and VIP Booths) include access to the Official After Party upstairs in Bardot.
GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS:
Nominees have the option of purchasing unlimited General Admission tickets at 50% discount by using promo code "nominee22". General Admission tickets allow access to venue, main lobby, upper balcony and specifically designated side areas off main floor. GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS DO NOT INCLUDE AFTER PARTY ACCESS. DIAMOND BANQUET & MAIN FLOOR VIP BOOTHS:
All main floor seating is premium and cannot be discounted. Main floor Diamond Banquet and VIP booth seated guests receive complimentary access to Official After Party. Diamond Banquet table seats, the two VIP Wing Booths and Loge tables #23 & #24 will be served dinner. All other VIP booths (including balcony booths) DO NOT include dinner.
OFFICIAL AFTER PARTY - 10:00 PM to 1:30 AM
General Admission DOES NOT get access to the HMMA After Party, located upstairs (Bardot) in the Avalon theater. Only 300 tickets are available for this fun post award show event. Everybody can relax, decompress and make new friends. Some live performances are planned and surprise guests sitting in for a song or two. There are a couple options for securing After Party tickets on the HMMA Eventbrite ticketing portal. These tickets will sell out.
LEGAL AGE & MINORS
Attendees should be 21 years of age or older. Anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The youngest age allowed is 16 years old. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
CHECK IN:
Our check-in team will have nominee, VIP and sponsor name master lists, and the ticket level associated with the name. We allow under 21 years of age, so everyone over 21 will be given a wristband to identify legal age. Venue security will be checking ID’s and then guests will proceed to the main entrance of the venue.
All assigned MAIN FLOOR seated guests will be given numbered wristbands corresponding to their reserved table or VIP booth. All tables and booths are numbered, including the six balcony booths. Wristbands must be worn at all times while in the venue. Non-seated (General Admission) guests may head inside the venue, enjoy the lobby bar and socialize but PLEASE do not congregate near the red carpet or interview areas. We ask all General Admission ticket holders to head to the designated General Admission areas in balcony or other GA areas. Please DO NOT block any designated walkways.
RED CARPET:
The red carpet will run from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. To ensure everyone gets carpet time, we have set arrival times for nominees by categories. Nominees must be ready to walk the carpet during the following time frames, or you will miss the opportunity.

ONLY 2022 NOMINEES, APPROVED VIP & PRESENTERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE RED CARPET:
If you are a single nominee (one person), we will allow a +1 on the carpet with you. Please do not abuse this courtesy. If you are a band, only band members (musicians) on the carpet. Please arrive at your designated time noted above. If you do not, you may miss your chance to walk the red carpet. There may be a line for the red carpet so we ask for patience, cooperation and courtesy. Our PR team will check you in, whiteboard your name and direct you to where you need to go. You may pose for a moment or two for still photos on the carpet. Please move along and don’t hold up the traffic. Be respectful for all the other nominees waiting in line.
ALL NOMINEES WILL NOT BE INTERVIEWED:
There is simply not enough time. If you are chosen for a quick interview, you’ll be directed to an area off the red carpet. Please do not EXPECT this and please do not ASK to be interviewed, just be ready if it happens.
AWARD PRESENTATIONS:
Please note, all categories will NOT be presented by a presenter at the podium. Some categories will be in video presentation packages, shown on screens throughout the venue. Due to the amount of categories recognized at the HMMA, we cannot announce all nominations live with on-stage acceptances. There is simply not enough time to do this. However, if you see that you won your category, we have an area backstage to have you and a pre-made award trophy photographed. These photos will be included in the Official HMMA Award Winner photo gallery. We will have guest relations people and production staff throughout the main floor to direct you backstage to this designated area. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
CAMERAS & CELL PHONES:
Personal cameras and cellphones are allowed in the venue. Please DO NOT take selfies on the red carpet. There is a photo wall in the lobby area where you can take all the selfies you like! Only professional and approved media will have a reserved spot on the main red-carpet press line. All press must be approved. Press Credentials can be requested HERE
WHAT TO WEAR:
Recommended dress is "Hollywood Hip" or whatever you feel best suits your styles or vibe. This is NOT a stuffy, formal black tie event. Although, if you want to dress up with tux and top hat, go for it! And ladies, formal is acceptable, and so is "Sunset Strip Sexy." We love seeing personalities shine! Just remember, this is a celebration, so get ready to have a good time!
PARKING & DIRECTIONS:

There are paid parking lots North and South of AVALON and one across the street next to Capitol Records. If you find a spot on the street at a parking meter, be sure to read the signs before heading into the club. For cheaper parking options, there are $10 parking lots at 1800 Vine (entrance on Yucca) and 6223 Selma (on Selma between Argyle and El Centro). Bottom line: Plan and prepare your arrival and parking accordingly.
DECORUM & CONDUCT:
During the awards show (8:00pm-10:00pm) we ask that you keep voice volume to a minimum, but scream and applaud when appropriate. The show is being recorded! If you wish to engage in loud conversation, there is plenty of room in the main lobby that cannot be heard by our production recording. Anyone disrupting the show will be asked to leave the area. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration. No outside alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted inside the Avalon. Anyone found with illegal substances or is determined to be disruptive will be at best asked to leave or escorted out of the venue by security.
