January 1, 2016 – Hollywood, CA: The 7th annual Hollywood Music In Media Awards™ is now accepting SCORE and SONG submissions for nomination consideration in film, TV, video games, trailers, documentaries, shorts and all other forms of visual productions, traditional and new media.
Visual submission deadline is September 30, 2016. The HMMA main event will take place November 17, 2016 at The Fonda Theater, Hollywood.
The HMMA has expanded visual submission options, subdividing general categories to include specific subgenres. This expansion of nominee categories opens the opportunity for more composers and music artists around the world to be recognized for their inventive work. The HMMA expanded the Original Score – Feature Film categories to include Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Animated productions. Original Song for Animated Film and Documentary was also added.
The HMMA continues to gain worldwide recognition as the music awards event that sets the bar for the major awards season, accurately predicting many score and song nominees and winners for Oscars, Golden Globes and Grammys.
