In 2018, hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar and SZA won best Original Song for the Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror Film category, titled”All the Stars” from Walt Disney’s BLACK PANTHER. BLACK PANTHER also won best Original Score for the or Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror Film category as well as best Soundtrack Album.
Other winners include Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt for best Original Song on a feature film titled “Shallow” from the Warner Bros. film A STAR IS BORN. A STAR IS BORN also won Outstanding Music Supervision for the Film category, which went to Julianne Jordan and Julia Michaels.
